ABOUT
Samantha Hill is the current ASPIRE President and the Director of the Weber State University Upward Bound project in Ogden, Utah. She has now worked for TRIO and the Upward Bound program for over ten years. She served as the Utah ASPIRE President from 2021-2023 and is thrilled to be called to serve again as the President of the ASPIRE region. Samantha is also the current Utah ASPIRE Government Relations Committee chair. She loves that having a career in TRIO allows her to combine her passion for educational opportunity with her devotion to advocacy. Samantha is a trained scientist and holds a bachelor’s degree in Physics from Weber State University and a master’s degree in Atmospheric Sciences from the University of Utah. She currently resides in Ogden, Utah with her husband, John, and enjoys photography, hiking, computer programming, science writing, astronomy, visiting national parks, and traveling.
