As a counselor at M State, Maronda Robertson supports students with career, personal and academic counseling, and also teaches Career Life Planning and Student Success courses. With a strong background in mental health and chemical dependency counseling, she is energized by helping students reach their potential. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and her Master of Science in Professional Community Counseling from Minnesota State University, Mankato. She is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, Licensed Addiction Counselor and Myers-Briggs Type Indicator Certified Trainer. Maronda’s self-care includes bike riding, spending time with family and friends and focusing and being intentional about empowering herself and others to focus on the things we can control, one thing at a time.
