Caitlin Brosseau is a Senior Director for global government affairs and public policy at Tripadvisor, a global travel guidance company. In that capacity, she oversees Tripadvisor’s government relations and public policy engagement, including the company’s public affairs work and political strategy. Caitlin has over a decade of experience in tech policy, having held roles at eBay and Pandora Media, prior to joining Tripadvisor. Throughout her time working for internet companies, Caitlin has gained valuable insight into the evolution of the digital platform economy and has engaged in many of the unique policy debates facing lawmakers today. Before working in the tech industry, Caitlin worked in the US Senate, holding a number of roles in the office of former Senator Kent Conrad. She supported the Senator’s work on education and financial services public policy, among other areas, and was able to help advance the Senator’s priorities in landmark legislation including the Rural Education Achievement Program, the Higher Education Opportunity Act and the Dodd-Frank Act. A North Dakota native, Caitlin received her undergraduate degree from the University of Mary (Bismarck, ND) and her Master’s in Public Policy from George Mason University (Arlington, VA). She currently lives in Arlington, VA with her husband and two children.
