Session Description:
Interpersonal communication is a vitally important skill in both education and in life. However, many first generation college students underestimate its importance and lack basic skills needed to properly communicate with classmates and professors.This interactive presentation will give both a theoretical and practical justification for teaching underrepresented and at-risk populations to improve small-group, interpersonal, and professional communication skills.
